Printer setup in OS X 10.4 Tiger
Pull down the blue apple menu in the top left corner of your screen.
Select System Preferences...

In the System Preferences window find the Print & Fax icon. Click to open.

In the Print & Fax window under the Printing tab,
click click on the "+" under the printer list window on the left.

In this window, enter the registered IP address for the printer you are connecting to, leave Queue blank. At he bottom, you can name the printer and it's location to what you want to make it easier to
identify in your printer list when you are printing.
This is for you and is optional.

Under name and location, use the drop down to select your printer make and model.
This is very important to ensure your computer and printer will communicate properly and
print the way you want it to. Note: Because there may be more than one model or version listed,
please consult your building tech rep, the printer manuel or printer configuration page for the
correct model to select. If the printer is not listed you might have to download a driver. Please consult your
building tech rep. Click Add after you have selected the correct printer model.
Congratulations, you should now be able to print!
